DOUG HUGHES

As commander of a major naval base and chief of staff of a Navy Region, Hughes has extensive leadership experience in all aspects of security (facility, port, and air) and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP). He has led major initiatives improving operations including the funding, design, and construction of regional command operations centers. Hughes is an experienced government financial specialist, including congressional appropriations liaison assignments.
